Malayalam actress Navya Nair revealed she was fined ₹1.14 lakh for carrying a 15 cm-long 'gajra' of jasmine flowers to Australia's Melbourne. According to Australian rules, international travellers can bring fresh-cut flowers only if they are declared. "What I did was against the law...It was a mistake I made unknowingly. However, ignorance is no excuse," Nair said about the incident.
