Billionaire Gautam Adani offered ₹1,750 crore to a 'high-ranking' official of the Andhra Pradesh government, to get the official to facilitate purchase of seven gigawatts of solar power from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), US court filings have said. The official, who hasn't been named, has been called 'Foreign Official #1' who served in Andhra government during 2019-2024.
