Adani Power Ltd received government approval to start operations at its Dhirauli Coal Mine in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh, its first captive mine with a peak capacity of 6.5 MTPA under a 30-year lease. Owned by subsidiary Mahan Energen Ltd., it ensures fuel security, cost optimisation, and supports the 1,200 MW Mahan power plant.
