Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff, is on a four-day visit to Japan from July 30 to August 2, 2025 to boost defence ties. He will meet top Japanese defence leaders and visit JMSDF units. The visit aims to enhance maritime cooperation, technological collaboration, and interoperability, strengthening the India-Japan strategic partnership in the Indo-Pacific region.
