The Indian Air Force (IAF) has proposed fast-tracking the acquisition of three spy aircraft under the Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition, and Reconnaissance (I-STAR) programme. The move is aimed at significantly strengthening India’s intelligence-gathering capabilities amid rising regional challenges. The I-STAR aircraft will be equipped with cutting-edge radars.
