The Maharashtra government on Wednesday announced its Housing Policy 2025, aiming for affordable environment-friendly housing for all by 2030. "A district-wise survey will be completed by 2026 and based on the survey, a plan for inclusive, environment-friendly houses will be built in the state," the government said. The policy aims to build 35 lakh homes for EWS and LIG categories.
