Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi's planned India visit this month has been postponed after it was called off due to a UN Security Council travel ban. It would have been the first ministerial visit from Kabul since the Taliban took power in August 2021. Notably, India hasn’t formally recognised the Taliban government's legitimacy in Afghanistan.
