The BCCI said it will participate in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)-chaired Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) only if the venue is shifted from Bangladesh's Dhaka. BCCI's demand has reportedly been backed by two other permanent ACC members, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan. BCCI cited the strained relations between India and Bangladesh as reason for demand.
