For the first time in over 25 years, Chormara village in Bihar's Jamui district will vote peacefully after being declared free from Naxal influence. Residents, once forced to travel 22 km to cast their vote, can now do so at their village school. Voters in Chormara will now cast their votes at Polling Station Number 220, set up at Chormara Primary School.
