Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara said the state government will formulate a new standard operating procedure (SOP) for mega events and celebrations to prevent any untoward incidents in the future. The move comes in the wake of the stampede during RCB victory celebrations. He assured the government will take strict measures to identify the lapses that led to the stampede.
