UPSC will now use DigiLocker to verify candidates' documents, including caste, income, and disability certificates. UPSC Chairman Ajay Kumar emphasised zero tolerance for cheating and said that the move aims to ensure authenticity in the selection process. The step comes after former IAS trainee Puja Khedkar was accused of using forged disability and OBC certificates to get reservation benefits.
