A 15-year-old girl allegedly died by suicide at her home in Gujarat, following which her father claimed that she may have taken the step after she was punished at her school over pending fees. "[The school] made her stand outside the classroom for two whole days," the father said. However, a trustee of the school has denied the father's claim.
