The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday announced that agniveers will get 20% reservation in police recruitment in the state. The agniveers applying for various posts in state police force will get age relaxation of up to three years. The state's Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said the move will provide opportunities to agniveers after their four-year term under Agnipath scheme.
