Agritech startup BharatAgri has ceased operations after failing to secure new funding despite $12 million raised from Arkam Ventures, India Quotient and Omnivore. In FY24, revenue fell to ₹5.37 crore while losses widened beyond ₹17.89 crore as expenses topped ₹27 crore. The shutdown reflects India’s ongoing agritech funding winter and investor caution toward unprofitable B2C farm-tech models.
