Doctors at Sterling Hospitals, Ahmedabad, successfully performed a rare and risky residual pneumonectomy on a 65-year-old farmer who had previously lost part of his lung to cancer. Despite immense challenges, including scar tissue and airway complications, the robotic surgery was successful. The patient recovered well and was discharged within days.
