The Central Government has approved India’s first AI and Big data-based road safety pilot in Uttar Pradesh. The project aims to reduce accidents by analysing data on crashes, weather, and driver behaviour. It will also modernise transport functions like faceless licensing and e-challans. A detailed impact report will follow to guide future rollouts nationwide.
