Geoffrey Hinton, referred to as "Godfather of AI", raised concerns over artificial intelligence triggering mass job losses. He said, "For mundane intellectual labour, AI is...going to replace everybody...Mass displacement is more likely than not, and is already upon us in some ways." He, however, added, "It's going to be a long time before [AI] is as good at physical manipulation."
