Phone conversations can be transcribed from 10 feet away with 60% accuracy by using AI-powered millimetre-wave radar technology, Pennsylvania University reported. This technology, called "wireless-tapping" detects minute vibrations made by phone's earpiece during talks and converts them into clear speech via open-source AI speech recognition model. This has raised privacy concerns for phone calls.
