Canada-based AI startup Cohere hired Joelle Pineau, former Vice President of AI Research at Meta, and Francois Chadwick, former executive at Uber and Shield AI. This comes amid its latest $500 million funding round, as it seeks to expand its market share in an industry of selling AI to enterprises. Pineau will serve as the Chief AI Officer at Cohere.
