Ahead of AIADMK chief Edappadi K Palaniswami's visit to Tamil Nadu's Thuraiyur, party members allegedly blocked an ambulance rushing to help drowning victim and tried to assault the driver, reports said. Later, Palaniswami claimed, "DMK is sending ambulances without patients to disturb my campaign," warning that if it happens again, "we'll make the driver have a patient and send it".
