Amid speculations, former minister and AIADMK leader KA Sengottaiyan on Tuesday, 9 September, confirmed that he had met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi. Speaking to the media at the Coimbatore airport, KA Sengottaiyan said that while he had earlier mentioned going to Haridwar, once he reached Delhi he was given permission to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
