AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami reiterated that he will be chief minister of a single-party government in Tamil Nadu after next Assembly election. However, EPS said that the AIADMK will contest the Assembly polls in 2026 in an alliance with the BJP. Exuding confidence, he claimed that the AIADMK-BJP combine will win 210 seats in the 234-member Legislative Assembly.
