A recent batch of humanitarian aid airdropped into Gaza landed directly on a camp housing displaced Palestinians and crushed multiple tents. A 15-year-old Palestinian boy was also crushed to death by a falling pallet during the airdrop. Israel permitted air drops into Gaza in late July following a tight blockade on the Palestinian enclave which lasted months.
