Asaduddin Owaisi-led AIMIM's Bihar unit has formally written to RJD supremo Lalu Yadav expressing its willingness to be included in Mahagathbandhan ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections. In his letter, AIMIM's Bihar state president Akhtarul Iman urged Lalu to include his party in Mahagathbandhan to "prevent the division of secular votes". Bihar will go to the polls later this year.
