DGCA has asked Air India to remove three officials from current roles over "repeated and serious" violations. The officials were involved in unauthorised and non-compliant crew pairings, violation of mandatory licensing and recency norms and systemic failures in scheduling protocol and oversight. The development comes after Air India plane crash which killed 241 people who were on the flight.
