The aviation insurance claims linked to Air India plane crash are estimated to be one of India's costliest ones, at over ₹4,080 crore, Bloomberg reported. General Insurance Corporation of India Chairman Ramaswamy Narayanan said an estimated ₹1,075-crore claim will be that for the plane's hull and engine. Around ₹3,014 crore will be liability claims for deaths of passengers and others.
