Congress MP KC Venugopal, who claimed the Thiruvananthapuram-Delhi plane he was on came dangerously close to tragedy, said Air India was lying. Earlier, Air India said there was no other aircraft on the runway. Venugopal alleged that the pilot himself announced about another plane. The plane made an emergency landing at Chennai airport due to a glitch, said Air India.
