Air India has removed its three officials from current roles after DGCA ordered their removal over "repeated and serious" violations. "In the interim, the company's Chief Operations Officer will provide direct oversight to the Integrated Operations Control Centre (IOCC)," Air India spokesperson said. This action comes after an Air India plane crashed in Ahmedabad, killing 241 people on board.
