The IAF has received its 15th C-295MW transport aircraft from Airbus's facility in Seville, Spain. India signed a contract with Airbus in 2021 for the procurement of 56 such aircraft, under which 16 were to be manufactured in Spain while the remaining 40 will be produced in India by Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL).
