Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar has asked NCP youth wing chief Suraj Chavan to resign after party workers allegedly assaulted Chhava Sanghatna activists protesting over minister Manikrao Kokate purportedly playing a game in the Assembly. Chavan's behaviour goes against the party's values and won't be tolerated, Pawar said. "We lost our cool and took the extreme step," Chavan stated.
