A 28-year-old woman in Ajmer killed her 3-year-old daughter by throwing her into Ana Sagar Lake. She was reportedly distressed by constant taunts from her live-in partner over having a child from a previous marriage. CCTV footage and interrogation led to her confession. Police have arrested the woman and are investigating possible involvement of her partner.
