Akali Councillor Harjinder Singh Bahman was shot dead by bike-borne men in Amritsar on Sunday. Punjab Police ADCP Harpal Singh Randhawa said Harjinder Singh was on his way to a hotel when three to four individuals approached him and opened fire. Bahman's brother told police that the attackers were the same individuals who had previously opened fire at his residence.
