Actor Akshay Kumar has insured the lives of around 650 stunt workers. This comes in the wake of renewed scrutiny on stunt safety following the death of stuntman Raju during the shoot of Pa Ranjith's film. Stunt coordinator Vikram Dahiya said, "The policy includes health and accident coverage. If injured, they can avail of treatment up to ₹5.5 lakh."
