Alibaba Cloud led a $100mn round in robotics startup X Square Robot, which unveiled its wheeled humanoid Quanta X2 for home, service, and industrial use. The firm has raised $280mn to date, with Meituan and HongShan among backers. Alibaba shares are up 61% YTD as it deepens bets on AI hardware.
