A Meghalaya court has remanded Sonam Raghuvanshi, Raj Kushwaha, and three others accused of Raja Raghuvanshi's murder to eight-day police custody, said SIT chief and SP (City) East Khasi Hills, Herbert Pyniaid Kharkongor. The police had sought a 10-day remand, but the court approved eight days, an official said. All the accused were brought to Shillong from UP and Indore.
