A Special Investigation Team (SIT) informed the Kerala High Court that all 35 cases based on the Justice Hema Committee report have been dropped as none of the victims came forward to give their statements. The Justice Hema Committee Report was made public in August 2024, which revealed sexual harassment faced by women in the Malayalam film industry.
