Andhra Pradesh Cabinet on Thursday approved up to ₹25 lakh health insurance per year for all the families in the state irrespective of their economic status. A total of 3,257 medical procedures will be covered free of cost, benefiting 1.63 crore families in the state. All payments will be directly processed by insurance companies, with the government reimbursing them later.
