Edtech startup Unacademy held discussions with Allen Career Institute for the startup's potential sale that could value Unacademy at $800 million, ET reported. The $800 million valuation is less than a quarter of Unacademy's peak valuation of $3.4 billion. Talks have been ongoing for months and now the deal's finalisation depends on the approval by Allen's promoters, the Maheshwari family.
