The Amarnath Yatra officially began on Thursday, July 3. Annually, countless worshippers embark on this religious pilgrimage to obtain blessings from Lord Shiva. Pilgrims have already gathered for the pilgrimage and took part in the initial aarti of Baba Barfani. Pilgrims chanted mesmerising hymns upon arriving at the sacred Amarnath cave in Jammu and Kashmir.
