Amazon Web Services will invest $5 billion through 2031 to build new data centers in South Korea. The announcement came after AWS chief Matt Garman met South Korean President Lee Jae Myung. The investment aligns with the US President visit to Asia and rising American interest in expanding tech infrastructure in the region.
