Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel in connection to the crash of the Air India plane that was carrying 242 people. Issuing a statement, Patel said, "I'm deeply saddened by the tragic accident...I've instructed the officials to take immediate rescue and relief operations." Shah has assured him full support of NDRF teams and Central Government.
