Amitabh Bachchan will be honoured with the Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Award this year for his career and contribution in the film industry. Last year, the Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Award was given to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The award ceremony was announced in the presence of Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar, veteran singer Usha Mangeshkar and Adinath Mangeshkar.
