Political analyst Matthew Dowd has been fired by American news channel MSNBC, hours after he blamed US President Donald Trump's ally Charlie Kirk for his own assassination. "He's been one of the most divisive younger figures...Saying these awful words and not expect awful actions to take place," Dowd said as the channel was breaking the story of Kirk being shot.
