An ancient Christian cross has been discovered in an ancient monastery on Abu Dhabi's Sir Bani Yas Island. Estimated to be 1,400 years old, it was found by Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT) during an excavation. "The discovery is a powerful testament to UAE's profound and enduring values of co-existence," Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman, DCT Abu Dhabi, said.
