After Google decided to invest $15 billion in Andhra Pradesh to build a giant data centre and AI base, Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge questioned the incentives Andhra offered, including the reported ₹22,000 crore subsidies. Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh said, "If they're (Karnataka) inefficient, what can I do? Their own industrialists say infrastructure is bad, there are power cuts."
