For decades, the prevalence of anaemia had been a huge problem for Haryana. The state, however, recorded massive improvement in this regard in the first quarter of 2025. As per a report by the National Health Mission (NHM), Andhra Pradesh led the country in eradicating anaemia in the first quarter of this year, while Haryana stood second.
