Andhra Pradesh has approved tenders for two metro projects in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam. The combined cost is ₹21,616 crore, with Visakhapatnam’s metro budgeted at ₹11,498 crore and Vijayawada’s at ₹10,118 crore. These projects aim to improve urban transport infrastructure in the state’s major cities.
