Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu directed officials to intensify efforts to boost state revenues beyond the growth projected in the 2025–26 Budget to fund major welfare schemes, including the newly-launched free bus travel programme for women. Naidu stressed the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) to track tax evasion, detect fraud in GST filings, and curb revenue leakages.
