A first-year student from Dachepalli Government Junior College in Andhra Pradesh was allegedly beaten and given electric shocks by five seniors. The accused, all minors, filmed the assault and issued death threats. The victim’s parents filed a police complaint. A probe is ongoing, and student bodies have staged protests. The college has not responded yet.
