Andhra Pradesh government has launched the 'Thalliki Vandanam' scheme, which will provide ₹15,000 per year to mothers or guardians of every eligible school-going child from class I to XII. To be eligible for the scheme, total household income should not exceed ₹10,000/month and ₹12,000/month for rural and urban areas, respectively. Families of government employees are not eligible for the scheme.
